Meet Max

Max is a beautiful baby boy with the most kissable cheeks we have ever seen. He was also born with Down syndrome. He's just like every baby - he sleeps (a lot), eats (even more), loves to snuggle his Daddy, flashes gassy grins and is a little freaked out by how much his sisters love him - he just has an extra chromosome.

Max didn't come to our family by accident. Heavenly Father knew we needed Max and that Max needed us. So He made Max extra special and sent him to our family so we could love him like crazy. We know his extra chromosome isn't a fluke or a genetic accident - He's exactly who God meant for him to be and we are so grateful to have him as part of our eternal family. 

The news came as a bit of a surprise (okay, if we're honest it was a complete shock) and sometimes it's still hard for us to wrap our minds around the news. We are so grateful for such wonderful friends and families who have helped us so much these past few weeks.
